Student authored web content is one of the most empowering, engaging, and challenging activities for students. There are good resources to help teachers with this, but be careful. Some resources offer tools to help you and your students publish information but are not cognizant of web page design; others know web page design but do not understand educational principals and pedagogy.

Examples of Students Publishing Information

Jardin Mundial Kindergarten Classroom Mrs. Silverman Second Grade Projects at Loogootee West Kindergarten-3rd Think Quest Library This is an international website-building competition. Teams of students and teachers are challenged to build websites on educational topics. These websites are published in the popular ThinkQuest Library and top-scoring teams win valuable prizes.
