Strengthening Curriculum using the Internet

Research: NETS 3
previous page next page

The third of the six NETS technology foundations deals with using technology as a productivity tool.

3. Technology as a Productivity Tool

Student authored web content is one of the most empowering, engaging, and challenging activities for students. There are good resources to help teachers with this, but be careful. Some resources offer tools to help you and your students publish information but are not cognizant of web page design; others know web page design but do not understand educational principals and pedagogy.

Using Other Web Sites to Publish

Visit these sites to see how other students and teachers have published information on the Internet using remote resources.
